A Huadian is an ornamental Make-up mark, often being featured on the forehead. It originates from medieval China. It actually developed from buddhist forehead marks, but is itself more decorative and less spiritual. The women of the Tang Dynasty often wore them.
Nowadays they are featured in Chinese dramas and also Japanese Anime, for example in "Raven of the Inner Palace" and "The Apothecary Diaries".
Huadian come in all sorts of shapes and forms.
In this game, you can design a noble woman bearing a Huadian mark. It is not historically accurate. I added hanging Jewels.
I just love the aesthetic of Huadian. They look so divine.
