For the purposes of this license, "Meiker.io" refers collectively to the founders, developers, contributors, operators, and any other persons directly involved in the creation and maintenance of the Meiker.io platform.
The Meiker.io platform and software may only be used for lawful purposes. Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the Meiker.io platform complies with all applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where they create, upload, distribute, or make their games available. Users agree not to use Meiker.io for any unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing activity. The use of copyrighted material, trademarks, or other protected intellectual property within games created using Meiker.io requires the appropriate permission or license from the respective rights holders. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to all content they upload, incorporate into, and publish through their games. Meiker.io is not responsible for any actions, consequences, or liabilities arising from the unlawful use of the platform or from content supplied by users.
Games created and hosted on Meiker.io may be used for personal, educational, commercial, and non-commercial purposes. Creators are welcome to share and promote their hosted games by directing players to the Meiker.io platform.
The right to download, self-host, or distribute generated game files outside the Meiker.io platform is not included under this license and requires the purchase of the Download Game feature.
Meiker.io makes reasonable efforts to provide a reliable platform and services. However, the platform and software are provided "as is" and "as available," and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with every device, browser, or operating environment. If you encounter a technical issue with the platform, we encourage you to contact us. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve reported issues, but ongoing maintenance, future updates, or any specific level of technical support are not guaranteed.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Meiker.io, its owners, developers, contributors, commercial partners, and collaborators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, loss of data, or other commercial damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Meiker.io platform or software.
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute arising under this agreement shall be submitted to the courts having jurisdiction in British Columbia, Canada.
By using the Meiker.io platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this license. If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorized to use the platform or the software generated through it.
