Journal of Alexander Hunter (14-08-1916)

I had a most disturbing dream last night. It was, as usual, about May. On one side of the mirror was her. On the other side was... not her. The not-May looked me in the eyes, and smiled as though it knew what was to occur on that fateful day.

In all of her very short life, May never once met anyone's eye.
